Pet care experience
I have taken care of neighbors pets since I was 9. I spent my 4 years of high school working at a dog and cat lodging facility. I helped caring for over a hundred dogs and around 5 cats during a typical shift. This included walking, cleaning, feeding, and general care.

Jackie exceeded expectations with caring for our two dogs! She provided constant updates as well as pictures during her stay with them which was very much appreciated. She was very responsive with any questions we had and was also very upfront with when she wouldn’t be at the house with the dogs so there were no surprises. You could definitely tell the dogs were well cared for and that she gave them so many snuggles. Our dogs definitely took to her from the start and were very comfortable around her. We had a great trip knowing our dogs were in such great hands with Jackie and had nothing to worry about. We will not hesitate to use Jackie again and the dogs are looking forward to her staying again!
Jackie took wonderful care of my pup last weekend! She was very communicative and sent me lots of pictures and updates, which I truly appreciate. She even showed up ahead of schedule and spent a little extra time with my baby :) I will definitely book Jackie again!

Jackie is a wonderful pet caregiver who provided excellent care for my dog, Iggy. Iggy was not an easy dog because he was old and sick and had attachment issues when away from his family. Despite these challenges, Jackie kept him safe, comfortable, and happy. I felt relieved knowing Iggy was in safe hands, and I know he enjoyed the time he spent with Jackie.

I am passionate about giving attentive pet care. I am there to, of course, take care of the animals basic needs. But I also feel I am there to give your furry friend the love and attention they deserve! I have experience in walking dogs with any level of leash training. Keeping the dogs safe is my number one priority and I will always keep them close and away from other dogs that they do not know.

Let me know if your dog has any particular needs (food allergies, medication, shorter/longer walks, diet, etc) or if they have any behavioral patterns (escape artist, resource guarding, aggression towards other dogs, etc). You know your dog best, so let me know if there is anything that will help me in caring for them!
A typical day
Ensuring physical and mental stimulation is very important in a typical day of caring for a dog. During walks I will allow the dog to take in their surroundings, encountering different scents and engaging their senses. I am physically active so if your dog likes to go on runs, I can take them to a path where we can run together. If you would like me to engage your dog in mental stimulation at home we can practice different tricks the dog knows and play with toys together. I like to incorporate playtime both inside and outside. This also helps me build a bond with pets, which is essential in pet care so the dog can relax while their owner(s) are gone. With all this activity, we will find time to rest based on the dogs mood. I will provide a quiet and comfy space, as well as plenty of water for the dog to rest after activity. With all of this in mind, every dog is different. I will follow the pet parents’ instructions and watch the dog’s mood to find the appropriate activity.
