Pet care experience
I’m a fellow pet parent (dog-golden retriever, cat-long haired tortie) with lots of petsitting experience! Since the age of 12, I’ve been petsitting for neighbors, friends, and family, and had my own dog walking business as a teen. I have volunteered at every humane society I’ve lived near, walking dogs and nurturing kitties. I have fostered kittens previously and have cared for senior dogs.

Jackie was amazing with our dog, Teddy. She kept us updated as much as we asked, she was easy to communicate with, and best of all, Teddy seemed to really love her! She has a natural connection with animals and does an excellent job with their care. We will definitely be having Jackie dog sit for us in the future.

Jackie is an amazing sitter! She gave excellent communication, provided video and picture updates, and went above and beyond to make sure Phoebe had everything she needed! She also stepped up when unforeseen circumstances caused a delay in me getting home. She is definitely the best and has me as a recurring sitter in the future!
Jackie was beyond amazing. She took such good care of my dog and cat. My dog especially has separation anxiety, so I always get a little nervous when leaving him. Jackie went above and beyond for care for him, and I felt so comfortable trusting that he was receiving the best care. Jackie was communicative with pictures and updates, and left my home nicer than when I left. She was absolutely phenomenal, and I will be having her stay with my kiddos again in the future. HIGHLY recommend booking with her, you'll receive the best possible care for your pets!

First, I love to chat over their typical daily routine with you. We know pets thrive on routine, and I will always aim to keep their care as close to your standard level of care as we can. I will always include some play time or socialization time with your pet. If they are shy/not so energetic, I’ll bring a book with me and read to them! I can provide continuity to any training you have established with them as well. Regular photo “pupdates” and a brief description of the visit will always be included with my services.
Information Jackie D. would like to know about your pet
A few things I need to know in advance are: any medications needed/frequency of medications and administration instructions, proof of vaccination so I can ensure safety of my own fur babies at home, and any triggers your pet may have. Nice to know: any commands you have taught them, and behaviors I should be aware of while they are in my care. (tugging on walks, can escape fenced in areas, etc)
A typical day
We’ll get out for walks, go on some sniffvestigation adventures, and get some play time in to make sure they have a chance to get some energy out while we’re together! Of course lots of belly rubs and snuggles, too!

I work from home full time with a reasonably flexible schedule. Getting out of the house to visit with your furry family member(s) would be a pleasure and a highlight of my day!
