There is not a time in my life where I've been without dogs. I come from a family that has always had (mostly working line) German Shepherd Dogs. I've owned everything from a Chiweenie mutt that I found left in a box at 4 weeks old while hiking to Border Collies to American Pit Bull Terriers. I have previous experience working in a large boarding facility where I handled about every breed you could think of. I was a long-term caregiver for two special needs Mastiffs for someone going through a difficult time in their life. I would love to take your active dog out on an adventure, if requested. Or just hang out at a park bench with your old guy. I've worked with a lot of special needs rescue cases and medications are no issue (oral or injections). I am perfectly fine handling and feeding raw food diets. Additionally, I work as a trainer and hold my own additional insurance.
