I'm Jacki, I'm 30 and live in Liberty Township, Ohio. I work full time at the EPA in Cincinnati Monday to Friday, but am available for Rover-ing on evenings and weekends. On week nights, I prefer just to do dog walks (with my dog Bailey, if you wish, or your dog only), but can also do a drop-in visit (feed, water, playtime, walk, clean cat litter, etc.) if you need it. On the weekends I'm more open, from Friday nights to Sunday evening, and every other Monday/Thursday (the day alternates each week). I can do dog walks or dog sitting, or even daycare. I have a 6 year old German shepherd/collie mix (photos) named Bailey who enjoys walking/running, the dog park, treats, toys, and play dates. We can introduce our dogs if you wish, or I can take care of your pet alone. If you want your dog to hang out with mine, I'd prefer we do a meet and greet to make sure they get along first. There are two dog parks at my apartment complex if you are comfortable with your dog socializing, or, there are several safe places to walk nearby. I'm also about a 5-minute drive from Wiggly Field at Voice of America Park in West Chester, it's a huge, beautiful dog park. I'm also willing to come to your home for drop-in visits. I could be willing to stay overnight if I can bring my dog with me, however, I understand if that's not preferred, and I can't leave her alone all night. I do have two cats, so if you want your dog to stay with me, please be sure they won't eat my cats. Your dog will be under my constant supervision while you're away and I'm able to provide transportation to a vet in case of an emergency, I have my own reliable car. If you have a preferred vet, please let me know. Otherwise I will most likely take your dog to my dog's vet, which is a 24-hours emergency care center (West Chester Veterinary Center, Liberty Township, OH). I've worked with shelter animals and have always had family pets. I have house-sat and cared for dogs, indoor cats, outdoor cats, raccoons and birds. I am used to dogs of all temperaments, and love cats. I'm pretty flexible in the time I have free so please, contact me if you are interested and I'd be happy to chat and set up a meet and greet! I have had a lifetime of experience with dogs as pets and understand how important it is to find someone who will care for your pet as if they were a member of their family. I also have a bachelor's degree in Zoology and worked as a pharmacy technician for 5 years and have a detailed understanding of medications and many health concerns your pet may face. Again, I have cared for a dog of my own for 6 years and had family pets my entire life, so your fur-baby will be in good hands. I'm comfortable administering oral and topical medication to your pet, if needed, however I'd prefer not to give them injections without being shown how to do it first.
