Hello! My name is Jacki and I would love to meet and look after your pup! I am a huge dog lover. I am currently a student and yoga teacher, so I have plenty of time to give your dog the love they deserve. I have helped to facilitate dog adoptions for many years, in addition to having spent a month in Thailand at a shelter with over 400 dogs, taking care of the dogs in the clinic and assisting the vet with procedures. Due to this, I am very comfortable handling multiple dogs, difficult dogs (both abused and abusive!), and everything in between. Jacki is one of the most caring and compassionate people I know - especially with pets. As her older sister, we grew up with a dog for the majority of the time we both lived with our parents. Although Roxie was a family pet, Jacki took full responsibility for her. She fed, brushed, walked, and played with her, and as a result, Roxie and Jacki really became best buds. She slept in Jacki's bed every night. Beyond the way Jacki treats Roxie, I have never seen someone act as compassionately towards pets as Jacki does. She respects and treats all animals as she would any of her family or friends; in a way that they truly deserve to be treated. I highly recommend Jacki - your pet will be in very good (and fun!) hands.
Jacki is a lovely, bright, witty and sensitive young woman who has a very strong connection and dedication to all animals, and in particular dogs. She has spent hundreds of hours volunteering to take care of sick and abandoned dogs, and has successfully found homes for many of them. She truly cares about dogs as much anyone possibly could, and anyone who uses Jacki as a dog sitter would be very lucky and could be assured that their dog would be in very good hands.

A typical day
It may sound odd, but like with a child, I like to try to asses what the dog is feeling and what they want or need, then try to meet their needs. For example, some dogs need a snuggle sometimes, while others need space. I can be as active or passive as needed; play fetch until your pup is pooped, then relax with behind the ear scratchies or doggie-massages. We'll go for walks, play with toys and fun games, and de-stress with massage. Your dog can sleep wherever they please, so long as it's not my head! The more love, the better. I try to make sure the dog is comfortable and has everything they need so we can enjoy each other's company!
