Thank you for giving me the opportunity to love your fur baby while you are away! For as long as I can remember, both dogs and cats have been a part of our family. My husband and I retired from teaching and moved to SC in 2020. We had recently lost our 100-pound white German Shepherd, Angel, to cancer. We were done being pet owners (so we thought) since she was the most perfect dog we had ever owned. When I got the urge to get another dog, I was introduced to a dog rescue organization and became a foster for them (see the pictures of some of them we fostered). In a short time, I was in charge of many aspects of the rescue. But, having all of those pups in our home during their greatest time of need brought us the most joy. Through this same rescue, we adopted the current love of our lives, Halo (the German Shepherd). Although I am no longer working for the rescue, I still have a heart for animals and would like to help out where I can. It would be my pleasure to watch your canine or feline family member(s) in their own homes where they feel most comfortable while you are away.
