Before I was allowed to get a dog, I had to promise to take care of it. I was 12 years old when I got my first dog. My family now has two Shar Peis, one is six years old and the other is four years old. I have trained both dogs and the six year old sleeps with me every night. Shar Peis can have challenging personalities and I have had to learn how to handle both of them safely. I love meeting new dogs and learning how to play with them depending on their personality.
