College student looking for dogs
Pet care experience
I'm a Senior at the University of Alabama, don't drink or party so I fill my time in other ways. I grew up with multiple dogs in the house at all times but due to my current financial situation (maintaining academic scholarship and paying my way through college) I can't afford to have my own dog but miss having pets. My mother is an animal behaviorist and part time dog trainer and will soon be breeding Eurasier's - a relatively rare breed from Europe and was also president of the US Eurasier club - so Dogs are a large part of my life and I miss having them around. My class schedule is easy to work around and allows plenty of time to care for dogs and give them plenty of attention. I have house sat for family friends and work friends before and believe I could satisfy any requests for dog sitting or house sitting that you my clients might have. I'm extremely active and outdoorsy - go hiking or kayaking about twice a week and run a half marathon every year.

Information Jack S. would like to know about your pet
While I have no breed preferences in terms of breed, nor am I rigid in dog training, I would like to know what behavior issues the dog might have beforehand (IE barks, chases cars/people, biting or jumping) just so I have an idea of what precautions to take while watching, caring and exercising the dog.
A typical day
If your dog is up for it I can take him or her on runs - if not just walks or hikes. I'm a strong fan of sitting out in the lawn and throwing whatever toy they need in a relaxed game of fetch. If we're near a body of water I can take the dog swimming if that is something they are into.
