I’m Jack, I’m 19 and I have experience in providing care for dogs both at home and at my local animal shelter. I volunteer at the local dog shelter and find this work rewarding and enjoy seeing the dogs have fun and have time out of their kennels in the shelter. Stimulation is so important. I currently have two dogs at home which are shared with my family. Their names are Duke and Dakota. Both have different personalities and needs and I am attentive and supportive of their likes and dislikes. I care full time for my family pups when my parents take vacations and whilst they are working out of town. I enjoy taking regular walks with my dogs and have the ability to walk two medium/large size dogs with ease. I have taught both my dogs how to leash walk comfortably and a good pace, I have also supported my pups to learn basic commands such as sit, stay, down, shake and come. My dogs are treat and toy motivated and I use these methods to support and encourage training. I have plenty of experience with puppies and their differing needs to adult dogs. They require plenty of stimulation, potty breaks and regular training. I have experience with foster pups from our local shelter and have helped and supported the most vulnerable pups in our community. Some are nervous, energetic, playful, shy and others just want plenty of attention and affection. I am available for dog sitting in the home and I am available for dog walking also. I will be lead by your guidance on how you wish your pup to be cared for and will ensure positive routines in the time you are away from home.
