Pet care experience
I have always had animals in my life. Growing up we always had a fun family of cats and dogs around the house and we still do! In addition to my own personal pet care, I have been involved in the training of several support dogs and have worked in an animal hospital for two years!

I know Jack to be an innately kind , patient and responsible young man. He is a student at St. Olaf College studying Environmental Sciences and is also an accomplished athlete. During summer breaks he is employed by a local Veterinarian working with animals of every nature day in and day out! I happen to know they hold him in very high regard. He would be a great choice for your pet as he is a people and pet person through and through!
Jack has always loved animals and grew up with a small menagerie in his home. He helped raise two support dogs that went on to go into service helping people with disabilities. The last two summers he has worked at Clark Animal Hospital where he took care of the animals patients; walking dogs, feeding, basic wound care, cleaning enclosures and giving lots of attention and love to each animal. This is a perfect job for Jack and I know every animal Jack cares for will be safe and loved!

There is a large fenced yard where I live so your dog will have plenty of room to roam around and play. I also live right by a good number of trails and am more than happy to go explore them with your dog.
Information Jack H. would like to know about your pet
For me it’s really important to know your dog’s energy level and how they usually expend that energy. Are they friendly and playful around other dogs? Or are they more calm around people? Additionally, it is very important for me to know if your dog has any sort of medical conditions or if it is on some type of medication. Knowing this will help me evaluate any situation if something unexpectedly unfortunate we’re to arise.
A typical day
I love to be active and I bet your dog loves to be active too! I really enjoy going on long walks on a trail and then popping into town to explore some dog-friendly shops. Of course, I’ll be on the lookout for a free milk one too.

Availability
I work throughout the week, but my day usually ends around 3-4 PM so afterwards I’d have plenty of time to spend with your pet(s)! Additionally, I am free most weekends and would love to take your dog on a long walk.
