Pet care experience
Hello, my name is Jack! Since I was in my teens, I have always been trusted by family friends and relatives to look after a whole menagerie of different pets. From dropping in to feed and play with friends cats, to both dog sitting and overnight stays - I’ve done a bit of everything over the years. More recently since I’ve owned a home with my partner (and fellow dog lover), we now have our own Bearded Collie. Iris is a very welcoming dog, and proves to be a calming and welcoming influence on the more nervous canines we’ve cared for. Recently I have changed career path in order to follow my passion for animals, their happiness and care. Luke also shares a wealth of animal-releated experience, having grown up with many pets in Australia. Like myself he’s always been called on to care for friends/family pets, and loves meeting new animals. If you’ve any questions/queries, please feel free to get in touch. We’re always happy to chat with pet owners!
Reviews
Just fetched Teddy back from his second visit with Jack & Luke, while I moved home. Absolutely brilliant, lots of photos/videos, they planned park outings, honestly if you need someone to look after your dog and know they’ll treat them like their own, look no further! Already booked for July x Thanks guys, so grateful x
Thank you so much to Jack, Luke and Iris, we never imagined we would be able to go abroad and leave our little dog Betsy. After several meetings in the park and at the house Jack reassured me that Betsy would be fine. He sent me daily updates, pictures and videos, Betsy had the best time, she absolutely loves Jack, he has a lovely manner with anxious dogs and along with Luke and Iris I can honestly say she is much less anxious amongst strangers. We will definitely keep in touch with Jack and can now look forward to more breaks knowing we will be leaving Betsy in the best of care.
My dog was very comfortable here. Lots of updates. Very friendly people.
Jack, his partner and their dog were amazing sitters for Patsy! Couldn't recommend them highly enough! 😊

Safety, trust & environment
My partner and I live in a spacious three bedroom house, and also have a back yard which is securely walled in, with a sturdy gate locked with a key. There is also an open topped crate upstairs, which is available if a dog feels overwhelmed and needs a time out. We always encourage the dogs to explore their environment, and are not precious about them having a snooze on a bed or the furniture - they’re here to feel comfortable.

Information Jack H. would like to know about your pet
Theres no such thing as too small a detail, if you feel I should be aware of something - please tell me! This can range from them being likely to wee inside from the anxiety of first being left, right through to them having certain triggers that can lead to excessive barking or reactive behaviour. Please also inform me of any allergies your pet may have, or foods you wish for them to avoid. I will always do my upmost to ensure that your dog is in the safest environment possible that caters for its individual needs.
A typical day
As well as daily walks in local parks, our home provides a range of toys, both to play with inside the home and outside in the garden. Guests can expect to play tug, ball and frizbee - I also do treat-based command/training sessions; providing the owner doesn't mind the treats I use. We always have fresh chicken in the fridge that serves to inspire cupboard love from our new furry friends.

Having recently become a full time dog boarder, I'm also in the process of setting up my own pet accessories business - so I'm always around with our own dog and any boarders. Life in our home is very much weaved around the dogs needs.
