I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and absolutely adore them- big or small. Over the past few years I have had the opportunity to look after several dogs for friends and family. I also have a dog of my own who is now 2 so I am familiar with all the care a dog may require and understand any concerns you might have with someone else looking after your dog. Our spaniel is very friendly and submissive - he gets along well with other dogs and loves to snooze indoors and play outdoors. When caring for your dog I have sufficient space to ensure my dog and yours can be apart when they need to and together when they want to. I will love your dog as if they are my own. So whatever your pup needs, I can help :) I am always a fan of doing a meet and greet before caring for any dogs as I want to be able to ask questions , get to know your dog and make sure that everyone is comfortable with the arrangements. I will be honest in scenarios where I do not think I will be able to care for your dog properly/meet your dogs needs and have turned down owners in the past where I have felt this was the case as I want to be fair to both you and your dog.

Buddy had a lovely stay with Jack, Sarah and Obi - I’m not sure he wanted to come home!
Jack & Sarah took great care of my one year old spaniel for a week whilst we were on vacation. He had previously had several daycare sessions and an overnight to get to know them (and Obi) so felt at home with them. They are great communicators and provided many regular updates / pictures which we enjoyed seeing whilst away. Thanks Again and Barney will be back to see you in the future!!
Suki stayed for 12 nights while we had our holiday and Jack and Sarah made sure she had a home from home. She got on well with their dog Obi and enjoyed the daily walks twice a day. Thank you so much Jack and Sarah for making Suki’s stay so enjoyable. Suki would love to stay again in the near future.

My garden is large and fully fenced with plenty of space to run around and play. There are also two parks about 2-3 minutes from us which is great for stretching the legs. My house is split across two levels so please let me know if you don’t want your dog going upstairs for any reason. While I can host up to two pets, due to space and preferences, I choose to only host large dogs one at a time, so you won’t have to worry about your dog being in the company of too many other dogs at a single time and not having enough space/attention - I will make sure your dog is comfortable.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs so I can make sure your dog is properly cared for. Specifically, please do highlight any separation anxiety issues and the longest period of time you would typically leave them at home alone for. Also good to know is your dogs feeding schedule, walking schedule (time or distance), recall, commands they know and if there is anything they dislike or are scared of, as well as house rules ie are they allowed on the sofa/bed, upstairs, treats etc
A typical day
I love caring for dogs both physically and mentally - we have several parks nearby and can go on long walks and play fetch etc. If possible I like to taking the dogs on varied walks in other areas nearby including Goring, Henley, Pangbourne etc provided your dog is comfortable in the car.

My partner/I work from home so have flexible schedules. I love being outside and going on walks so you won't have to worry about your dog not getting enough exercise/stimulation. The dogs I look after will be walked a minimum of twice a day but up to three times a day as required. Please ask if you have any other questions or concerns.
