I have been around and looked after animals my whole life. Our family have always had at least two cats at any one time. I had rabbits, hamsters, fish as a young child, which definitely taught me the responsibility of being a pet owner. Then when I was 13 we got our first dog, a beautiful black Labrador called Lilley. She was definitely my best friend, until sadly she passed away at the ripe old age of 14 a couple of years ago. This has definitely left a dog shaped hole in my life. Although I have almost always lived somewhere that has a dog, my work life and other commitments, means it wouldn’t be fair to have my own. I’m almost always outside, whether adventuring in my camper van, running or hiking and i would love to share that time with a four legged friend!
