Jack rescued his pup Sugar three years ago. I remember the FaceTime call because I was so struck by how fast Sugar put her trust in Jack. As a rescue owner myself, I know that this is no easy feat. It has been an extraordinary pleasure watching this pair grow together, and seeing Sugar transform into a joyful, bouncy, and playful pup. This transition wouldn't have been possible if not for Jack's patience and dedication. Of course, he provided the basics of food, shelter, and quality veterinary care, but I believe it was the intangible that drove Sugar to Jack. Jack is dependable, diligent and profoundly empathetic. I have regularly caught him prioritizing the needs of others (pets included!) over his own. These qualities of Jack make him an excellent pet sitter and a dynamite dog dad.

Jack has been caring for dogs all his life. He is intuitive to their individual needs and peculiarities, is loving and kind while being able to be consistent with the importance of their schedules. Jack has successfully cared for other people’s dogs often, my own included. He is patient and is able to stay within the boundaries set by the owners for their pets. He is honest, responsible and trustworthy. I would have no hesitancy in hiring Jack as my pet’s caregiver.
