Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Jack. I'm 35 and I've had dogs in my family my entire life. I'm planning on getting my own dog in the next year or so, but have some travel plans I'd like to go for first. I live in a small cottage in Sheffield, quite near Parkwood Springs. I work full time from home so can offer dog-sitting throughout the week and some weekends, with long walks before work, at lunchtime and in the evenings. About me: I work in marketing for a small carers charity and run a freelance web design company in my spare time. I'm also an amateur photographer. I grew up in Devon, where my mum and sister still live with two beautiful Bedlington Whippets (Amba and Winnie).

Jack did a fantastic job looking after Harry for 4 nights. He listened and put up with all his quirks and gave him a great home from home. He was exercised regularly and was in touch with updates and photos very regularly. I’d recommend him to anyone looking for sitting or boarding. Thanks again Jack.
Jack is a lovely guy and I've felt very comfortable leaving my pup with him and will continue to. Has been accommodating with timings and dates and upfront about any potential issues.
You would be hard pressed to find anyone who is more devoted to dogs than Jack. He is a reliable and trustworthy individual. I would place my dogs in his care, certain in the knowledge they would be safe and well attended to.
We have always had family dogs and my brother has always taken excellent care of them. He knows how to give a great walk and even better belly rubs. He’s responsible, reliable and trustworthy. I know he would have a dog if he could but until then, he’ll make an excellent dog sitter. Any pooch would be lucky to be in Jack’s care!

I have a front and back garden for general sniffing and toilet times but I wouldn't allow a dog to roam free in my garden as it's not fenced off super well.

I have no breed preferences - happy to look after any dog as long as their friendly and safe. Would be great if they can be off the lead so I can give them a proper run, but happy to keep a dog on the lead if it's required.
A typical day
I live near a two large green spaces and would be happy to walk your dog as much or as little as needed! Generally I would walk them in the morning before work for an hour, during lunchtime for a quick stretch and then after work for another proper 45-60 minute runaround

I work from home full time, and it's rare that I'm required to be in the office so I can look after dogs most weeks and some weekends.
