Growing up, we always had ~at least~ 4 pets home at a time; from snakes & birds, to rats & dogs. My father is a veterinarian and owns a veterinary practice in FL. As a result, I've been surrounded with animals and have been responsible for caring for, & also nurturing their injuries, since a young age. I've raised several cats and dogs from birth, and have worked with all assortments of animals (hamsters, lizards, porcupines, horse, cats, etc). It's something I enjoy doing and don't see as "a job"; caring for animals is in my nature! Anytime I meet an animal, I like to establish a personal connection and understanding with the spirit of the animal. I introduce myself in a calm, receptive manner, so that we can be in tune and on the same page.
