Pet care experience
I am a biology student with over two years experience working at Dakin Humane Society. From my time there I have been trained in animal care for various species of animals but especially dogs, cats, and other small animals. I have walked countless dogs and scooped countless litter boxes, I have been trained to properly administer medicine and handle animals if handling is necessary. I have lots of hands on experience with many animals with various conditions and needs and I hope that is enough to ensure you that your animal is in safe hands.

I unfortunately cannot provide home services because I have two pet rabbits who are litter trained and free roam my apartment. Therefore, my home is not a safe place to bring a dog or cat to as my rabbits are not socialized to dogs or cats, and not all dogs and cats are socialized to rabbits. Rabbits are prey animals and can get scared very easily!

A typical day
I’d love to play with your animals, talk to them, ensure that they are receiving enrichment under my care. I will take your dog wherever you feel comfortable with me taking them around, and of course, wherever your dog feels most comfortable.

Availability
I will be attending Hampshire College in the fall, but at the moment I don’t have any obligations. I have lots of free time and I hope I can use this time to care for animals in need.
