Greetings, fellow dog lovers! I’m Cala, an energetic, responsible and caring college student who dreams of someday opening her very own pet grooming/boarding facility, Paw Awe. With 12 years of experience and as a fellow dog parent (I care for a lovely girl shihtzu named Bonnie Belle), I can relate to how important it is to have someone care for and love my pet, when other duties call for my attention. In addition to caring for and training my own dogs, I volunteered at Pets 4 Luv, York Humane Society and Pets Inc, animal rescue and care centers in New York and South Carolina. I have a flexible schedule, as I am a college student. I have a car and can travel. Thank you, Cala

Jacala loves animals! Seeing how she cares for her dog, and the way she lights up at the prospect of caring for those of others, makes it obvious that she will be an excellent dog walker.
Jacala is one of the most loving and caring individuals that I’ve ever met. Her presence alone with people lights up a room with positive energy and good laughs. When it comes to animals, she is more than patient, very observant, loving, and passionate. From watching her with her own dogs, she loves them just as if they are her own children. Her pets are not just her “pets” she makes them family. Being around Jacala for many years, I’ve noticed that she is very dependable, honest, and hard working. Being a dog sitter would be the perfect fit for Jacala.
Last year I was going through a terrible breakup. I was depressed, lonely, unmotivated. I decided to bring Home a furry friend to help ease the pain, someone who I know would love me unconditionally. I’m not embarrassed to say that at this time i knew NOTHING about dogs. The first few weeks were crucial! My puppy would cry all night long, he’d use the restroom all throughout our home. I loved my buddy but I needed help! This is when my good friend Jacala came in to not only teach me how to properly care for my dog, but she invested sooo much time training him and loving on him. I joined the Air Force this year and I was devastated I had to leave my dog behind. Jacala offered to care for my puppy while I was away and she even wrote me letters and sent as many pictures as possible! The only hard part is showing my dog as much of a good time as she did. She is amazing! Kairo (my puppy) still gets excited when he sees her!
What a pleasure it is to know Jacala and an honor to write for her a testimonial. The amount of love and attention she gives to all the animals as well as my own comes from genuine love and care . Tentative to all their needs and so reliable..... she is my “Go To Girl” when it comes to caring for my dogs.

A typical day
Your pet will receive extensive play time( i am a master at hide and go seek, a game my dog enjoys very much), belly rubs, walks in your preferred area and even(at your descretion) either Eisenhower park, West Hills dog runs, or Wantagh Parks dog run! Leave their favorite toy(s) with them so we can have a blast while your away!
