I've grown up with Border Collies, so high-energy breeds are right up my alley. Our dog Pero, featured in my profile, was raised from a puppy, giving me practical experience in caring for young dogs. Offering my services on Rover isn't just about helping you out; it's an opportunity to meet and care for your wonderful dogs, creating a positive experience for all involved!

Jac, is just fab. This was the first time leaving Brooks overnight, so needless to say my nerves were shot. However, jac kept me constantly updated with pictures, videos and texts. I would highly recommend jac and would without a doubt book him again😀

Ensuring your dog feels at ease, I'd maintain their routine with regular walks, meals, and playtime, as instructed by yourselves. Following your guidelines, I'll provide companionship, keeping a watchful eye on their well-being and happiness. Consistent communication and updates will keep you informed and reassured while you're away - unless you'd rather be left alone, in which case I'll provide just as many updates as you require! :)

A typical day
I think it's just as important to stimulate a dog's brain as it is to tire them out physically. Not only will we go for long walks in the rural spots in and around Berkshire, I'll make sure to get them thinking on their walks as well. A personal favourite of mine is to alternate between throwing and hiding the ball and getting them to sniff around for it! Works wonders and will knacker the dogs most of the time :)

Availability
I work full-time, but as long as you have WiFi, I'm more than willing to work remotely as I have that option 3 days a week. Please note - if you book me for house sitting, this does mean I have to go into the office in Newbury 2x a week so your dog(s) would be in the house unattended from 08:00-17:00. In addition to this, I'm free most evenings and mornings when I'm in Reading, so I'm available to walk your furry friends! I'm happy to provide midweek and weekend dogsitting & walking as long as it fits both of our schedules :) I can offer daily dog sitting in your home - please message to discuss if this is required :)
