Pet care experience
Dogs are my passion. I love cats too! I was raised on a farm with a minimum of 6 dogs at a time, and many cats. I have a lifetime of experience with animals of many personalities, and adore them all. My beloved pup, Dosha, is 11 years old, giving me in-depth elderly dog experience, including giving medication and maintaining routine. She is also very hyper, has severe anxiety, and is the love of my life. I am a loving caretaker of any dog or cat who comes my way.

We needed a dogsitter for the day while packing up for a move, and Jac was great! Very communicative with lots of updates throughout the day and Queso had so much fun with Jac and the other pups!
We needed help with dog walking all weekend long. Jac was SUPER responsive and dropped by to meet our dog (Picco), they got along famously, and Jac came by on time, both weekend days, taking Picco for walks and sending us photos. We're excited to have found Jac and looking forward to future opportunities for Jac and Picco to get together!!
Jac is someone who has had animals their entire life and fully connects with them. There are people who 'like' dogs and cats, but I'd say Jac's love for them goes much deeper. 'Dosha'...Jac's dog, was rescued and has not been an easy dog to have. This husky mix was very wary of people...terrified, actually...yet Jac worked with her and never gave up. Now, several years later, 'Dosha' has become a loving, trusting, wonderful dog! This speaks volumes to the love and tender care she was given. Jac is responsible, honest and a hard worker. I believe this would be a wonderful position and that 'Rover' would be lucky to have Jac as a member of the workforce.

In my client’s home, I adapt to the existing environment. I try to maintain routine for each pet, while giving them the adoration they deserve, and meeting their individual needs, whether that be extra pets, extra snuggles, extra snacks, extra space, or grooming. My home comes with a fenced yard, and two pups, one of whom makes an amazing playmate for any rambunctious dog. We always have treats on hand, and cater to each dog’s individual needs, no matter how much they vary. Wherever I am, I come with tons of love to give.

A typical day
The highlight of my days is “snuggle time” when I’m on the floor with dogs, giving them 100% of my attention and care. I love to stimulate them through play with toys and other dogs (if a good fit), encouraging tricks, lots of physical attention, grooming, and exploring the neighborhood and parks on walks.

I work outside of the home M-F 8am-2pm, and have a completely open schedule beyond those times. I have reliable transportation and am able to visit your loved ones anytime weekday or weekend outside of those times.
