Don’t know your pet but I love them
Pet care experience
My entire life, there’s been a cat or a dog or several of both in my parent’s home - mostly cats, but I got a fast paced introduction to the world of dogs when we adopted an Australian Shepherd puppy (RIP Mr. Quinn) when I was 13. I’ve known and loved many critters that aren’t my own (although my Lhasa Apso Gracie is always going to be my favorite), and am blessed to have 3 wonderful feline roommates, but I very much miss dogs. I love nothing more than going for walks, and I would be honored to feed and pet and love your buddy. I love clingy animals, I love aloof animals, I love anxious animals. I’m an only child and my best friends were always my pets, so I know how important they are, and I get that they’re family. I’m not in this for the money at all, I really genuinely just miss and love pups and kits.
Reviews
Izzy was amazing! She took my boy for walks and gardened with him. Lots of picture updates which as a helicopter mother I really loved! Also I was late picking him up and she was so kind and understanding which was very much appreciated!!
She was great and sent photo updates. Ripper loved her. We will definitely use her again!
Izzy had our large dog for about 5 days, and I couldn't say enough positive things. She checked in everyday, usually multiple times with pictures of their fun and adventures together. She was very understanding of Kings anxiety, and was very accommodating. If we ever need a sitter again we know where to look first
If I would have more stars I would give Izzy 10 stars instead of 5. She is truly, genuinely a pet lover, a wonderful person inside and out . She has been very easy to communicate with, kept us posted and went above and beyond to make our dog feel happy. We are from Maryland and found her while in vacation in Portland. I am so sorry I cannot take her with us in Maryland. Thank you Izzy. Keta, Petric's mom, the yellow lab

I’m a very attentive and empathetic pet caretaker; I understand that different pets have different needs, and I’m generally pretty good at figuring them out. I’m happy to chill with a book and let them do their own thing, or spend many continuous hours throwing a ball around. I love trail running and hiking, so if your pup is up for it, I’d be thrilled to take them on a woodsy adventure (I prefer to keep them on leash and am a very safe driver who’s never been in an accident).

Information Izzy S. would like to know about your pet
I love any dogs of any size and sort. I trust you to know your dog best and pass on any relevant information to me - generally handy things to know are phobias/anxieties, how your dog reacts to other animals and people, any other things your pup reacts strongly to, any tendencies to hide/run away/bite or the like. I also like to know how food motivated a dog is!
A typical day
I am an avid tug player and snuggler, but what I love most is going for walks and runs. I’m new to Seattle, so if you have any trail recommendations I’d love to hear them!
