Pet care experience
I have been caring for animals since I was 13 years old when I volunteered in the kennel at my local veterinarian. When I was 14 I got my first job as a kennel technician. When I was 17 I got promoted to veterinary assistant! However, I’ve been taking care of animals long before I was 13. Growing up I lived with 6 dogs and multiple cats and my family would foster a litter of puppies every 3 months. Having worked at a vet for 6 years, I am very good with animals of all types, size, and behavior! The truth is, caring for animals is my passion. I’m a freshman at UTC studying biology with hopes to attend vet school when I get my bachelor’s degree. If you choose me to take care of your furry child in anyway, I can promise you they are in smart, caring hands. I’m now a veterinary assistant and am going to school for my license! Currently working at a veterinary clinic, I have SO MUCH experience caring for pets, no matter the circumstance. You can trust me to properly give any medications (oral,injectable,etc.), handle your furry child, and love them like they’re my own!

Izzy was great! She wanted to meet our babies before the scheduled visits because she wanted to get to learn everything she needed to provide the best care. She put so much time and love into the visits and made us feel very safe leaving our babies with her.

Unfortunately I can’t offer pet boarding at my house. I have 6 dogs and one of them is a rescue that is very aggressive towards strangers (humans, dogs, cats, etc.)

Certain breeds tend to have certain health issues, your luck in booking me is I know what signs to look for ?. However, I understand there are pets who have “behavior” issues as well. You can let me know anything and everything about your pet, there’s no such thing as too much information imo :)
A typical day
I know every pet is going to be different and their preferences all depends on them. I love to know ahead of time what your pet typically likes so I can make them as comfortable as they can be while their favorite person is away.

Availability
I am currently attending college as well as working 40 hours a week. My work schedule keeps me pretty busy but in my free time I love pet sitting. The days I work change every week so my availability will probably vary.
