Pet care experience
I have cared for dogs and cats my whole life and have been pet/house sitting for friends, family and clients for several years. My furry best friend is a big gray tabby cat named Wolf! I have worked with local animal rescues to foster cats and kittens where I monitored health and administered medication. I previously cared for rehabilitated animals as an outdoor educator. This included reptiles, mammals, amphibians and birds of prey! I definitely love all creatures - big to small, furry to scaly and slimy! I am very active so I’d love to take your dog on a run/hike and will keep your cat busy with the laser pointer! Feel free to send a message if you have questions!

We called Izzy when we needed a house and dog sitter at the last minute and were so glad we did! She came to our home for a get to know you visit and it was apparent that our dogs liked her from the start! She asked great questions, took notes, and we felt comfortable right away with leaving her in charge while we were away for the weekend. Izzy sent plenty of updates and photos while we were gone, and when we returned, the dogs were happy, hoise was clean, and all was well. We were thrilled to find such a responsible, experienced sitter so close by and will definitely use Izzy again!
Izzy is a wonderful pet companion! She did a meet and greet with our family and I knew instantly she was a great fit. She engages well with our two dogs and has knowledge for special needs and administering medication which really helps our family and our Pomeranian Sammy who was recently diagnosed with epilepsy. She did regular check-in’s with us while we were away and dogs were obviously given lots of attention while we were away as they were regulated when we returned. It was as if we had not been gone and the house was as we left it. Thank you again Izzy, we appreciate all that you do !
Izzy is wonderful with dogs! We're very protective of our dogs and don't just let anyone care for them but Izzy does such a great job. Our doggies are always so happy when Izzy comes over. She is very responsible, respectful, and always on time which is appreciated. We've never had any problems with her and don't expect to anytime soon.
Izzy is a very conscientious and responsible person. She loves all animals and has cared for our pets for many years. Izzy has worked at three different Nature Centers where she was responsible for the daily care of all the animals from pets to exotics. She is a well liked hardworking, honest and trustworthy person. Your pets will be in good hands.

I am an avid hiker and cyclist and I know Pisgah national forest well! I’d love to take your dog on a hike on the estatoe trail and let them take in all the good forest smells!

Availability
I work full time Monday-Thursday. I am available Friday-Saturday for any of your pets needs. I have my own pet at home so am unable to board pets at my home at this time.
