Pet care experience
I have years of experience through my lifestyle, hobbies and career. First beginning with my long term loan horses and my first job as an assistant dog groomer at 13. After several years here I started work at an animal sanctuary where I cared for a wide range of species including cats, equine, farm, exotics and wild animals - hedgehogs! And this is where I completed my course in Animal Care and Welfare. I then started some work experience in a first opinion vet practice alongside this and loved it! Eventually I got my placement in my current vet practice where I’ve been for a while and am in my final year of my veterinary nursing course. I have been petsitting and dog walking alongside work for a while for some extra income. I absolutely love meeting new pets and providing peace of mind for owners so they can fully relax on holiday while allowing pets to stay comfortable in their own homes instead of in kennels. I have extensive training in newborns to geriatric animals as well as behavioural issues and first aid.

I have years of experience with many different scenarios, species, breeds, behaviours and first aid which makes me perfect to look after your fur babies and give you peace of mind that they will be looked after in any scenario. I always send daily pictures and updates to keep owners in the loop. I drive and don’t mind taking dogs to the beach etc. of this is something you’d like.
Information Izzy L. would like to know about your pet
I can provide assisted walks, care for puppies/ kittens/ litters and give injectable/ topical and oral medications if needed. Just let me know beforehand. I will normally come and meet the owners and let’s before you go away to get familiar with them and where everything is.
A typical day
I can provide physical and mental stimulation to all pets. I can take dogs around their local neighbourhood and also drive to places like parks and the beach as well as playing in their own homes/ garden. With other animals such as cats and small furries I can provide a more gentle approach while still ensuring they feel cared for and had time spent with them wether this is playing, grooming or just chilling out with them.

Availability
I work full time at a student veterinary nurse and do my pets sits and dog walking around that. I am happy to do drop ins, stay overs and walks 7 days a week and on my lunch breaks with short notice.
