Flexible, helpful and responsible
Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Izzie and I just graduated from Western Washington University. I have been on Rover for four years and I used to be a trained dog walker at Kitsap Humane Society. My experiences in taking care of dogs are very diverse. I am very flexible about pay rates — if you can't afford my rates, contact me and I will lower them if I find your request reasonable. I look forward to working with you and all of your furry friends!
Reviews
Izzie did an amazing job taking care of our pets while we were away. We came home to a clean house and happy dogs (and guinea pig). Her communication is excellent, and I never doubted that everyone was in excellent hands. Would book again with her without giving it a second thought!
Izzie stayed in our home with our two small dogs while we were on vacation. She was responsive to messages when we checked in. Sulley and Sailor appeared to appreciate her daily company as they did not seem stressed when we got home. Izzie also watered a few outdoor potted plants for us since the weather was warm. Overall she was responsible and communicative and the house was in good order when we returned. I've rebooked Izzie for another trip next month.
Excellent
Izzy took good care of our two dogs while we were gone for two weeks. She also took care of the mail and house which made it easy to relax & vacation.

Safety, trust & environment
When I was 21, my family trusted the family cat with a stranger while on vacation and she went missing. Luckily, we got her back — but this experience made me take the safety of my client’s pet and home even more seriously than I already did. Because I know how it feels! I always ensure all doors are locked and I keep an eye on pets at all times. I am okay with crating pets if the owner wants me to do that. When I take pets for walks — I only do so if the owner requests that — I hang on with a tight grip that I have perfected after six years of being in this business. The safety and security of your animals and homes are of utmost importance to me.
Information Izzie L. would like to know about your pet
I would prefer to know the breed and age of your dog before providing any services, as well as any special needs they require. This is just so I have a general idea of how to handle the dog and what will be expected of me beforehand so that things can run smoothly! Before I accept a booking, I want to do a meet and greet at least 3-4 days before the owner leaves, to see if it’s a good match. Once the booking has been confirmed, I ask all my clients to leave a list for me that includes care instructions, an emergency contact, and the pet’s vet information.
A typical day
I will walk dogs for up to 45 minutes. I do not have a specific location I will be walking them to, as I expect my clients will live in different parts of the county. I love to cuddle with client’s pets and always make maximum use of the toys available so the pet has a fun time.
Services

Availability
I work from 9 am to 6 pm Mondays through Fridays — therefore, I am the best bet for pets who can be left alone for extended periods of time but need care and love in the mornings and evenings 💕
