Pet care experience
I have lived with multiple pets at a time for my whole life. In 19 years I have had puppies, kittens, dogs, cats, fish, turtles, guinea pigs- you name it, i have always loved animals. I have experience caring for senior dogs and cats aswell as puppies and kittens. I know pet behavior, I can do baths or any grooming wanted, I know how to give medication, and I have completed multiple pet sitting gigs privately outside of rover. I’m sure any service you are in need of I will be able to help you out in some way. Over the course of my life I have lived with 5 different dogs and 3 cats, all different breeds, sizes, ages, and sex. I currently live alongside my childhood puppy, Nia, age 10 black lab and Maisy, age two, a small terrier sato mix from puerto rico. In addition, I have my childhood kitten, Horacio, age 16, and her son, Nico, age 13, aswell as 29 guppie fish across 3 tanks :)

I always like to make sure dogs have plenty of time to go to the bathroom and be outside, plenty of food and water, and of course plenty of affection. I am not the kind of person to come in, let the dog out just to pee, and leave immediately. I will greet them, give them plenty of time to go to the bathroom, give them some attention and play time, make sure they have everything they need to be left alone, and eventually make my way out.

I have worked with many different dogs, different breeds, sizes, ages, behaviors, and i think it would be helpful to know a few things before bringing them on a walk or out to a park. Are they friendly with other dogs? humans? children? Are they a yapper? if so, how do you normally quiet them down? do they have certain tendencies when going to the bathroom? do they prefer longer or shorter walks? do they like to run or swim?
A typical day
In my many years of bringing my pets everywhere with me, i have a few spots in mind to bring your fur baby for a fun-packed day. I know of numerous walking spots, beaches, lakes, and ponds for swimming. I have a fetch dog and a tug of war dog, so i know how to play all the games!

Availability
I am currently taking a gap year before moving to college this coming fall. I take 2 classes at SMCC Mondays and Fridays, aswell as babysitting 2 days a week. I am available for drop in visits, pee breaks, playtime, and walks :)
