Hi! My name is Izadora. I got started with pet sitting about 8 years ago when, by chance, I ran across a Nextdoor listing, 'Pet sitter needed'. A beautiful dalmatian named - what else - Spotty needed someone to care for him while his family went on vacation. At the time, I'd just lost my sweet baby girl, my Nina. I was so excited to have the chance to love on another fur baby again! I met Spotty's family and we came to a fantastic arrangement. I would stay at their home overnight to watch the house & Spotty, and during the day, I would let him out for potty & play during my breaks from work. The best gig I'd ever had - I still have photos of him!!! From there, I continued pet sitting even during my time abroad and have since taken care of Sheila🐶, Missy 🐶, Arnold🐶, Beanbag🐱, Carol & Carol II 🐠, Shelton & Franklin 🐢, Mini🐶, Princess Yoda🐶, Chaussettes 🐱, Neko 🐱, & Marie Antoinette 🐶 Duties included overnight care, feeding & water, walks, play time, litter changes/potty time, and general housesitting where needed (watering plants, setting alarms, etc). I've decided to get back into this using the app because it provides more visibility for me to do what I love to do!

When visiting your home, my #1 rule is to respect you & your pet's space!! The routine and rules you have are meant to be followed exactly as such. I don't believe in watching pets as I see fit but rather, as you see fit. Feeding times, crate times, and bed times will be adhered to. My ultimate goal is to keep your pet safe, happy, & healthy without it seeming like I was ever in your home.

My preference is for dogs that do not have special needs. While I have taken care of dogs with medication needs, I am not fully trained to do so and don't feel comfortable with it. High energy dogs are okay. At a meet and greet, it's important to me to find out exactly what type of stimulation your dog needs to keep them happy.
A typical day
Taking dogs for walks or playing in the backyard is part of what I do to keep them stimulated. For longer spans of time spent with your pup, playing with toys, going for runs, and playing in parks are all activities I enjoy! Likewise, if your pup needs lots of attention and snuggles, I'm absolutely all about it! One thing I've noticed dogs love to do is join in on my exercise routine. Keeping fit and active is part of my personal routine and it's so funny & very cute when dogs want to hang out during push-up time!!

Availability
My schedule allows for morning visits, afternoon visits (I'm very fortunate to have the best full-time job ever that lets me leave if needed!), and evening visits or overnight care. I will for sure have a full day to spend with your fur babies on Sundays & Wednesdays, along with having early to late evenings fully available on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays (current work schedule is 9 AM-5.30 PM). Mondays & Thursdays, I work from 11 AM - 7 PM which allows for morning to mid-morning visits and evening visits!
