My name is Izabella but I go by Izzy. I've had animals since I got my first Siamese kitten, India, at age 4. India taught me a lot about animals and since then I've had many dogs and cats. I currently have a 3 legged chocolate lab named Stevie, who is the sweetest dog you've ever met. I also have 7 cats, one was a feral cat I found outside in the dead of last winter when it was freezing cold outside and he just looked terrified. Almost all the other cats are rescues as well, and I wouldn't trade them for the world. One of my cats, Rush, is 13 years old and was in the sanctuary for 10 years before I brought her home. She had many medical needs and needed three different oral medications for a long time. She doesn't need those anymore but she still needs special care, and when she occasionally gets a UTI she takes her medication like a champ.
