I have known Izaak for the past 15 or so years. In a world arguably short of empathy and compassion he has plenty. I have seen Izaak care for his family dog Oliver my whole childhood with joy and attention to safety. Izaak also has a background in extensive backcountry backpacking which is not for the faint of heart. He has been on trips that test your leadership skills, responses to real life situations, and physical limits. Izaak is one of the most responsible people I know, and is a diligent hard-worker. I have seen him continue to prioritize commitments to both work and school over the past several years since he moved to Vermont.
