Hello! My name is Ivy and I'm very excited to be part of the Rover community! I’ve always had a great connection with animals since I was little. I was raised beside them since my family has always had all kinds of pets. My dad and I rescued my first dog when I was 12 years old. He was my best friend for almost 13 years until he passed away due to complications with cancer in 2022. Caring for him espcially in his golden years has made me even more passionate about helping as many animals as I can. Over the years my family and I have fostered and pet-sat dogs of all sizes and personalities, along with dozens of cats. I have experience treating pets with fungal or bacterial infections and I’m skilled in administering both oral and topical medications. I’ve also cared for my own diabetic cat, learning how to give insulin injections and monitor blood glucose levels at home. I've TNR and cared for the neighborhood street cats, thanks to the the ASPCA and other programs for providing free / low-cost veterinary services. I’ve also fostered kittens and young cats until they found safe, loving homes. I’m familiar with dogs at every stage, from gentle seniors, high-energy pups and giant breeds. No matter their temperament or health condition, I’ve worked with dogs from all walks of life. As a fellow pet parent, I understand the importance of your pet’s well-being and safety, and I guarantee that your pet will be in caring and attentive hands with me. I’ve recently moved to an apartment that doesn’t allow any additional pets, but I’m more than happy to come to your home to care for your fur babies! I’m based in Los Angeles but can travel further depending on the location. Rest assured I’ll follow all your instructions and house rules with the utmost care and I’ll always treat your home with respect. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities, and I’m committed to providing them with the best possible care while you’re away.

Ivy was great! Communicative, friendly, and attentive. I have a chronically ill senior cat and a reactive dog and she took care with all our specific details to best accommodate them.
Ivy was wonderful and understanding to my Lola, who is generally nervous around new people. Lola is not the easiest dog, but it made me so glad to see that she and Ivy became good friends. I would be happy to book with Ivy again.
Ivy is really thoughtful! When my dog had hurt his leg and couldn’t walk a lot, she brought a little carriage for him to ride in so he could still enjoy being outside :)

Schedule
My availability is open right now. I can walk or drop in on your pet at most times of the day, and if I’m not busy, I’ll happily work around your schedule. If you need overnight pet sitting (or even for a couple of nights), I’m more than willing to discuss those options as well. Your pet’s care and comfort are my priority and I’m here to make sure they’re well taken care of while you’re away.
