Pet care experience
I have a dog and 2 cats of my own, and have been a top choice for friends when they go out of town and need someone to watch over their fuzzy family! I love all types of animals; and understand how stressful it can be for both humans and their beloved pets when it comes down to having to leave town. That’s one of the reasons why I would love to watch your pet(s) and ensure a stress-free experience; with daily video/picture updates, plenty of play time, and a flexible schedule to ensure your furry kids won’t be left alone for long!

Ivy was very prompt, attentive and caring with our pup, Carl. He would reach out to let us know about things in our house (plants, if something randomly fell, etc) while we were gone for three weeks which was also very helpful and thoughtful.

At home, my pets are spoiled rotten! That being said, your pets are bound to get spoiled with head scratches, belly rubs, and all the toy tosses they can handle! And the occasional treat here and there with the permission of the parents, of course! During a negative interaction, i have no fear of stepping in between. I understand that our furry babies get overwhelmed by outdoor agitators (other dogs, other animals, etc) sometimes- or maybe just start to act up when they have a need- so i do my best to pay attention to ensure your pets comfort. I understand body language and behavioral habits, and have no problem identifying and providing solutions.

The wishes of the pet parents come first always, and would not want to handle a potentially sensitive situation wrong. A typical day
I love going on adventures outside if the weather permits, as well as other outdoor activities. The shelby bottoms greenway is one of my favorite places to go, as well as the dog park there! My goal is to tire the furry babies out so when they get home, they’re satisfied and heading straight to snooze land! If they don’t like to be out as much, I also don’t mind endless tug of war and fetch!

Availability
I work independently, so my schedule is more flexible than others! During the day, after 10 am- I have one kid in school and one at home, and work in the afternoons once my partner comes home at 2. With this, I’m able to do 3 check ins minimum a day (morning, afternoon, night). My typical jobs never last more than 3-5 hours, so I’ll have plenty time for your pet!
