Hi, I'm Ivy, a writer living with my husband, Pablo, in the Highland Park neighborhood of LA. I have always been a great animal lover and have a lot of experience with different types of dogs. Growing up, my family pet was an adorable Norfolk Terrier called Cricket. As an adult, I always sought out living situations which involved looking after animals. When I lived in Washington, DC my housemate had a (highly energetic!) one year old pitbull-mix that I often walked, fed and generally cared for. Likewise, in Valencia, Spain, I was partially responsible for looking after my landlord's dog, cat and rescue kitten. In Oxford, my responsibilities as a tenant included walking, feeding and looking after Bobby, my landlord's lovely old mutt. Finally, in London I frequently (through this app) dogsat Silas, a very lively Staffordshire terrier. His owners entrusted me with extended overnight stays at their home. Both my husband, Pablo, and I are at home all the time and have flexible work schedules - so we are able to give a lot of love and attention to your pooch. The streets around our house are quiet, perfect for dog walking and there is a dog park nearby. We are also big hikers and very happy to take dogs along with us.
