Pet care experience
I have grown up with animals my entire life. Starting out with dogs, turtles, fish, bunnies - you name it! In addition to caring for my personal pets, I spent roughly 4 years volunteering at my local animal shelter growing up at - Wayne County Animal Services. I have also fostered several puppies until they can find their forever homes for a nonprofit organization - Anchor Your Heart Rescue located here in Wilmington. I am a dog mom of my own to the sweetest Shih-Tzu (Winston or Winnie for short) who turns 4 in July. We are so excited to meet your fur babies and hope to ease your mind with knowing your pup will be looked after, cared for, and loved just as my own!

If you know Ivey, you know her love for animals. She is compassionate, kind hearted, and loving to not only animals but to everyone she meets! She has watched my two dogs several times throughout the years and she has never let me down. And as a bonus, she sends you cutest pics of your dogs when you’re away

I live in a spacious (pet friendly) newly developed apartment on the 1st floor (no stairs). My pup is not crated & is free to roam, as so is yours! (If crate trained, you will need to provide the crate). I do not have a fenced in backyard but I do have access to a dog park if your pup requires more exercise beyond walks/potty breaks throughout the day. I keep my apartment clean, very organized, and dog friendly (with possibly every toy/tennis ball PetSmart has ever sold lol)

Availability
I’m fully available for boarding, walks, day care or drop-ins on the weekends. Boarding during the week will depend on on your pup’s specific schedule/needs given I woke full time with only an hour lunch break to come home in between. Anytime after 5pm on the weekdays I’m available for walks and/or drop-ins.
