I've had a miniature Australian shepherd for 4 years. As a puppy, he was fairly sickly, and I had to provide constant, high quality care for him for around 2 years. He is happy and healthy now, and needless to say I've definitely learned that 1) I have the ability to provide undivided attention and care to a dog and 2) a happy dog makes everything worth it. Loki (my dog) is non aggressive and very playful, and I love nothing more than taking long walks with him (and his puppy friends), playing fetch with him, and generally spoiling him just a little bit. I'm very communicative, an expert at taking cute dog pictures, and will make sure to keep you well informed of every detail of your dog's stay with me. I work very close to home, and am able to get back to my apartment around lunchtime every day. My work hours are generally 10 - 5, and I generally take Loki out to potty right before I leave, at around 2 PM, and immediately upon getting home. Loki is crate trained, and sleeps in his crate all day, and on days I leave him out, I have a camera that I set up to watch him. This will generally also be a tag team effort with my girlfriend, who has had dogs for over 20 years, and refers to Loki as her "puppy baby".
