I had my first dog experience since a child with my family dog , Chispo (shih tzu) , from the day we adopted him at three years old till his passing at 16. I learned to love and care for him, to learn his own schedule from potty breaks to cuddle times , and most importantly how to act in a household and out of one. Challenges came along the way for sure , especially around when he turned 12 when he became blind due to cataracts . I loved him always with 110% of my heart , as he grew , more obstacles came such as dislocations in his legs causing him to drag himself at some points , where he couldn’t urinate properly, and so on. I will always love and treat a dog as if they were mine , whether there’s disabilities or not.
