Pet care experience
I am a vet student with a passion to help animals. I have volunteered for dog charities and worked in shelters and private veterinary practices. I have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes and have been trained to work with dogs of all ages and animals with special physical and behaviour needs. I have additional interests in small animal behaviour hence I am currently undertaking a module in behaviour as a part of my university degree. I am trained to perform CPR and administer oral and injectable medication. I am currently a full-time university student. I can provide pet care services 3-4 times a week depending on my course’s weekly timetable. I can provide pet care for 1-2 animals during weekdays and up to 6 animals on weekends. When I am looking after your fur baby in your home I will make sure I ask about all your pet’s preferences in terms of food, activities and grooming. I will make a note of any specific owner requirements as well ask about allergies, medical conditions and any possible hazards around the house.

We got Rory last year. He is a 1 year old Cavapoo. Iva was pet sitting him when he was getting his first vaccinations and couldn’t go outside for walks because of that. Iva was always very professional and always stayed alert because Rory liked eating things he wasn’t supposed to. We really liked having Iva around and would have kept booking her if we were still living in Liverpool.
Iva used to walk my very energetic rottweiler Busco last year. We were neighbours at the time so she already knew Busco. At first I was a bit worried knowing what an energetic naughty boy Busco can be. However, Iva’s services exceeded my expectations. In the end she even managed to teach him some manners. Although Iva is still just a university student, I can guarantee that she has enough experience being a pet sitter/ dog walker and has excellent problem solving skills and can think quickly on the go. I think every pet parent will be lucky to have her as their sitter.
Iva took care of my cat Molly last summer. She was doing home visits when I was at work and was cat sitting during weekends when I was away. Molly is a geriatric cat who is usually shy around strangers. I was very impressed by how quickly Molly got used to having Iva around thanks to Iva’s excellent animal behaviour skills and caring nature. I always had a piece of mind whenever Iva was with Molly. We miss her and would always welcome her again. I would definitely recommend Iva to every pet owner who requires an experienced and living pet sitter.
