First I'll just say that I love this work more than any other I've yet to do. I love and understand animals of all kinds, so the joy of this work makes for an easy passion to follow. Having grown up with two rescue dogs, and spent every summer working on a family friend's farm, I have cared for and trained dogs as well as horses all throughout my life. I find great joy in helping dogs to feel safe, content, and happy in diverse environments. My first favorite thing to do with my pack or individual dogs is hit the trails! Exploration, stimulation of the senses, and freedom from the rush of city streets, though we do usually enjoy a stroll through town afterwards. =) I've trained several rescue dogs who've experienced severe trauma, so soothing those with high energy and aggressive tendencies is an exciting challenge and an enriching pleasure for me.
