Pet care experience
I want to provide a fun and safe environment for dogs to be in, and I believe that is best accomplished if they are at home, where they are completely comfortable. I have had dogs while growing up starting on my 12th birthday. We also had cats in our household and they always seemed to get along with the dogs. I would love to have a dog now, but I can't have pets where I live, so I would love to care for your furry friend. :) I work full time, Monday thru Friday, and I can drop in to check on the dog or go for a 30 minutes walk 3 times a day, if needed. I also believe it is best to keep them in an environment they are familiar and comfortable with, especially when parents are going away and an unknown person (sitter) is going to care for them. I also care for cats, all ages, all breeds, any special needs. I love my kitties too! :)

At your house, I will follow your directions for feeding times, amount of food, or any special instructions. Usually I take the dog for a quick walk / potty break before the meal. After the meal is all about belly rubs, play time and cuddles. I am not able to care for pets in my home at this time.

Before I commit, I would love to meet you and your dog. It believe it is just as important for the dog choosing the sitter he or she is comfortable with, as it is for the parents. I will need to know any special instruction or any special needs the dog may have; I can administer oral medication. I do not have any breed preference, all are welcome.
A typical day
It is really up to you and your dog when it comes to what fun activities we will do together. If your dog feels like playing, we will play, or we will go for walks around the neighborhood. Or if your dog prefers to just be home for cuddles and extra attention, then that's what we will do.

I am able to do morning, noon and evening walk, or drop in throughout the day, if needed. I am available most weekends and holidays with a few days notice.
