Pet care experience
I’ve dog sat for the last 6 years off and on. Although, I am newer to Rover. I have two dogs of my own that have thought me so much about pet care (they will not be around while I care for your pet). I strongly believe in the importance of mental and physical stimulation. Just as much as showing our pet family/friends love and affection (endless belly rubs and ear scratches here). I am not a dog trainer by any means but I have personally trained my dogs to do multiple tricks and commands.

Itzel has doggysat for me on multiple occasion when I needed to go out of town. I have a 6 year old Silky-Pom named Mr. Darcy, who has separation anxiety and finding people who he is comfortable with isn’t an easy task. Itzel took the time to make him feel comfortable and safe around her and that meant a lot to me. Spending time with Itzel is something that he now looks forward to specially their walks together.

It is Important for me to know your dogs personality and restrictions. To be able to pinpoint what they enjoy and what can trigger them. Along with what your main concerns are during the time I care for your dog.
A typical day
I like to stimulate dogs mental activity by doing tricks and commands for treats. I also have interactive toys for them to pay with. I will play fetch or tug a war with them if they like that. As for their physical activity I will do long walks. I typically do 45 mins, but I can walk as long or as short as you pet wants.

Availability
I have a pretty open availability during the week and available most weekends. So I am able to devote all attention to your pet while they are under my care. I also have the help of my husband so your pup will have double love and attention under my supervision.
