I’ve always had a big heart. Dogs are wonderful creatures, and I have so much love to share with them! I’m fully committed to providing high-quality, affectionate care. I’m friendly, caring, and totally willing to get a little silly while playing with dogs! I love their energy, pizzazz, and the fact that they don’t care what anyone thinks of them. Dogs always remind me how to be myself and enjoy life fully! My wife and I have 20 years of experience caring for small breeds, including Yorkshire Terriers, Maltese, Shih Tzus, and mini poodles. We fully understand that smaller dogs have particular needs, and we approach their unique requirements with all the love and compassion that these bundles of joy deserve. We’re also happy to work with larger dogs! With our own pups, we love to play in the yard, cuddle indoors while watching a good film, and on sunny days, ride my motorcycle out to the beach and back. Our neighborhood is warm and welcoming. We live in Howard Beach, a perfect area with wide streets for taking relaxed walks. We’re also close to the JFK AirTran, so pick-up and drop-off is a breeze. We even have a fenced-in yard--safe and secure for dogs of any size, but small dogs especially love it! Alma, my wife, is as loyal as I am when it comes to dogs. We’re empty-nesters, so the pup are our four-legged children. The dogs in our charge want for nothing. We are highly attentive to their needs, and observant of any changes in their energy or personality that signal it’s time for a nap, a potty break, a treat, or significant aid like medical care. We treat them with the utmost respect, and find that this leads to great experiences all around--especially for you, as the pup parent! We are highly communicative, and clients find our professionalism deeply reassuring.

Alma & Israel are true dog lovers. They know how to handle small breads and treated my dogs like one of their own. My two Chihuahuas had fun playing and and running around in a very nice outdoor area too. My girls came home happy and exhausted. I highly recommend them.
Having known Israel for over 20 years one thing I can say is that he has always taken great care of his family dogs. This has given me the confidence to keep my dogs with Israel and his family whenever I go on vacation. Besides keeping them happy with walks and socializing with his family pets he keeps me constantly updated with periodic pictures and short clips of what my dogs are doing. Knowing my K9 is in good hands and enjoying the time away from his owners makes me feel good about recommending Israel to anyone who needs a dog sitter.
I have gone on several vacations now and have left my two dogs in the care of Israel and I highly recommend him without any reservation. My dogs were well fed, kept, and clean when I came back. As a pet parent going away is troublesome and you are left with a feeling of guilt over leaving your doggies behind. However, with the excellent, loving care your dogs will receive with Israel you will have no feelings of worry or guilt at all. He sends messages updating me about their status and pics of them, which gives you a sense of relief. The dogs were taken on walks and kept active. Rest assure they are in a loving, safe environment where they are kept busy and entertained as well.

A typical day
I work during the day, so Alma and I will alternate as care providers. We’ll spend lots of quality, one-on-one time with your dog upfront to make sure that he feels safe and cared for right away. We’ll help him adjust and settle in, helping him feel comfortable by showing him around, and playing games in the yard. We’ll give lots of praise, hugs, and kisses, too! There will be walks, playtime, and so on, all based on his typical schedule. We’ll also venture to the beach if it’s nice out, and get extra cuddles, chew-toy time, and active indoor play in inclement weather.
