I grew up taking care of my uncle's German Shepard and Collie, and have my own dog now who's been with me for 9 years. I know my dogs of all shapes and sizes, and though my apartment works best for small dogs, I’m open to discussing your larger dog depending on energy level and temperament. MY DOG is Zoe and she's a sweet 10lbs Maltese-papillon who only knows love and how to love back. Typically, our schedule is a short walk in the morning, a long walk (30-45 minutes) in the afternoon, and a short walk in the before bed. Although green space is limited in LA, there is a small park nearby. Your dog will NEVER be stuck inside. I WORK FROM HOME so I can give your pup as much attention as they need. I'd love to watch your dog during week or weekends, but note that I may occasionally need to step out for 2-4 hours. Let me know if you have specific preferences regarding absences and I can accommodate if reasonable. If your dog needs to be crated during absences, I have a large (3x3) gated pen that we can use, or else you’re welcome to bring yours with you. MY PHILOSOPHY on dog care is to provide plenty of love, fun and structure. I trained Zoe myself and in addition to your standard commands, she knows to wait, high five, beg, roll over, play dead, and walk with me (stay by my side). I give Zoe the freedom to be her unique little self, but I insist on manners. If your dog has any behaviors that you want me to reinforce, don't hesitate to let me know. I believe in positive reinforcement, not punishment. A TYPICAL DAY in the life of Zo: she eats two times a day and gets walked 3 times a day, once in the morning, on a day adventure in the afternoon and once more before bed.
