Pet care experience
I started housesitting 2019 in San Francisco. Since then I have been sitting in Canada and Australia as well. I took care of all kind of dogs and cats from small to big, very young to very old with special needs and mannerisms. During one housesit I also started training the dog to walk on the leash, since I stayed with her for four weeks. Another time the dog got sick and I had to take her to the vet and treat her eyes, which was no problem for me. Generally pets respond to me very positively, since they can sense that I treat them with loving care and respect. Regular meals, fresh water, clean bowls, walks, cuddles and playtime according to their needs are assured. While staying at your house you can be certain that I treat them like my own pets and leave the house clean and tidy as you have left it. You will also receive regular updates with photos from your loved ones. I'm happy to travel for longer housesits. We can get to know each other via Skype or meet in person if you do live close to where I am at that moment. Seit über zwei Jahren bin ich nun Hunde- und Haussitter. Ich begann mit der Hundebetreuung in San Francisco, passte mehrere Wochen auf Hunde in Kanada und Australien auf. Die Hunde variierten stark vom Alter, der Rasse und dem Gesundheitszustand. Einmalig trainierte ich auch mit einem der Hunde an der Leine zu laufen, da die Besitzer fast vier Wochen verreist waren. Ein andern mal wurde eine Hündin krank, ich ging mit ihr zum Tierarzt und versorgte sie mit Augentropfen. In bisher allen Fällen reagierten die Hunde und Katzen sehr positiv auf mich, da ich Tiere mit Herz betreue und Sie sich sicher sein können, dass ich ihre Haustiere so behandle als wären sie meine eigenen. Ebenso kümmere ich mich um Briefkastenentleerung, stelle die Mülltonnen raus und hinterlasse das Haus sauber und ordentlich, wie ich es vorgefunden habe. Während Sie verreist sind erhalten Sie auch regelmäßig Fotos von ihren Haustieren, damit Sie sicher gehen können, dass es ihnen gut geht. Für einen längeren Haussit bin ich bereit zu reisen, bei Gassi gehen und Fütterungen sollte es hier in der Nachbarschaft sein. Kennen lernen können wir uns gerne per Skype oder persönlich, sollten Sie in der Nähe wohnen.

I always ask about the health condition of the dog and how he/she interacts with other dogs. It is good to know if they had contact to other sitters and how they manage when their owners are gone.
A typical day
I like all places in nature e.g. ocean, lakes, fields, mountains, forests,...Therefore I take a walk each day to the beach and to any natural area close to your place.

Availability
I work online at home. Therefore it is easy for me to stay at your place while you are on holiday. Dog walks and cat feeding can be done in the morning, during lunch and at night.
