In my drop-in visits, I prioritize feeding the pets according to the owner's instructions, ensuring they have fresh water, and providing interactive playtime to keep them engaged and happy. For dogs, I also include walks and outdoor breaks, ensuring they get the exercise and outdoor time they need. For cats, I ensure their litter is clean and they get plenty of affectionate play. My main goal is to make sure that every pet feels cared for and cherished in the comfort of their own home during my visits.

Personally, I’ve been the proud owner of a large Pit Bull mix named Indigo, who had allergies. This experience with Indigo deepened my understanding of the special attention some dogs require. While I'm most familiar with these breeds, I'm certainly open to looking after larger breeds as well. If your dog has any specific habits, requires medication, or has any other unique needs, I'd appreciate the heads-up. This ensures I can provide the best possible care for your furry companion.
A typical day
When I'm fortunate enough to watch and walk dogs, I aim to make the experience enriching for them. I love taking them on walks through local parks and nature trails, providing them with a variety of sights, sounds, and scents. If the dog enjoys a more urban setting, strolling through quiet neighborhoods can be just as enjoyable, offering them a chance to meet friendly faces. I also believe in mixing in some fun activities like fetch or tug-of-war at open spaces. Every dog is unique, so I always tailor our activities to suit their preferences and energy levels. Safety is my top priority, ensuring they're hydrated, comfortable, and leashed in unfamiliar areas.

As a college student with a currently open schedule, I'm able to offer flexibility in pet care, especially during nights and weekends. While I am committed to my classes and have chapter meetings Sunday nights, I am largely available to provide attentive care throughout the week.
