Pet care experience
Hello pet parents my name is Isabelle. I am a certified vet assistant in SCV with 7 years experience in care of both dogs and cats. Much of my experience has come from pet sitting but I also have special skill in basic veterinary care such as administering medication and caring for young animals in my work with fostering orphaned kittens. My goal is to care for your animals in the place they feel most comfortable their own home! It is very important to me that your pet is happy and comfortable and able to keep the routine they feel most comfortable in so you can have no worries about coming home to a happy pet!

Isabelle did a great job with our two babies, for a four day stay with overnights.
I cannot recommend Isabelle highly enough! She is responsive, responsible and took wonderful care of our pups! We have an elderly dog and a puppy, so no small feat! Isabelle provided updates and photos. I definitely will have her stay with our girls again!

I offer serviced varying from a few drop in visits to staying overnight with your pet. I find it most easy on pets to be able to be cared for in their own home where they feel confident rather than having the stress and anxiety of going to a new place. I work to pay close attention to the needs of every pet and their schedule because every pet is different and deserves the care they need.

The most important thing to me is to understand what your pet needs and especially all their little quirks. There is no judgement here so please let me know of any aversions they have (ie loud noises, cars other animals, etc). Additionally walk me through their daily routine including feeding times/amounts, walks(if needed), favorite forms of play exercise, administering of medication/time, and any other precautions I should know.
A typical day
I think that being able to stimulate and fun with your pet is a key factor in coming home to a happy and healthy pet. Having a break from their normal fun activities can be detrimental and cause your pets to start to feel depressed or dread when you leave. Being able to play with them with their favorite toys and in the ways they would normally do with you allows them to build trust with me and continue their normal routine.

When I take on pet sitting jobs I always work to schedule my daily and weekly routine around their needs including feeding times, medication, and other needs to keep your pets in their routine.
