My name is Izzy, and I am offering home/farm sitting in the Springfield and Eugene area. I am 22 years old and a recent college graduate who is saving up money to go travel, and I want to channel my love of animals and my house-sitting experience into a source of extra income. I will come stay at your place, and care for your animals, as well as any plant/garden care you require. I have been taking care of other people’s homes and animals since I was 16, and my own for as long as I can remember before that. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and pigs – and am always happy to learn any new animal’s program! I grew up with dogs, cats and chickens, and I have 15 years of horse experience, from being a 4H member in elementary and high school, to being the Horse Manager for the Washington State University Polo Team my sophomore year of college. I am familiar with all aspects of horse care, and know how to handle emergencies, administer medication and first aid, as well as when it is time to call the vet. I am also happy to administer medication and minor medical care to dogs and cats. I am a hard worker, and a reliable and responsible employee. I show up when I say I will, and I am a good communicator. I am always happy to provide customers with updates on their animals and their property over the course of their absence if desired. I am willing to provide short, or long-term animal and property care. Rates vary based on number of animals and length of stay. I will happily provide references from previous clients on request!
