Pet care experience
Dogs have been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I’ve worked in grooming salons, a shelter, a dog daycare, and rescued a terminally ill, special needs senior chihuahua during the pandemic lockdown. I’m certified in watching dog behavior, for the safety of both myself and others. I basically grew up on It’s Me or The Dog and there’s not anyone in my life who wouldn’t recommend me to watch your animals.

I value positive reinforcement. Dogs respect me because I make an effort to respect them. I will kindly and firmly set boundaries with your animals by ignoring poor behavior and rewarding good, polite behavior. That’s not to say I won’t love on em.

Please let me know about any potential aggressive behavior I should know about!!! Does your animal not like being touched in a certain place? Are they food or toy aggressive? Are there gestures or words that might trigger an aggressive or anxious response? Additionally, let me know what to do in an emergency where I can’t get a hold of you!! Let me know who your usual vet is so I can make sure your animal is safe and comfortable. Please let me know what any extra special needs I might have to accommodate for.
A typical day
I walk dogs at whatever pace they find most comfortable. I enjoy letting the dogs sniff around where they please (within reason), letting them get in some mental stimulation. I find some dogs need the extra mental work more than the exercise, like my dog. Otherwise, I enjoy talking and playing with them!

Availability
I have plenty of time to work with your animals until the fall! I prefer walking in the morning or at night, but have no major restrictions at the moment!
