Hello! My name is Isabella, and I’m a college student at Johns Hopkins University who loves making sure people’s fur babies are loved and happy. I got my first dog at five years old, and have added three dogs to my pack since then, and I have taken care of them and loved them for 13 years. I walk them twice a day, give them their food twice a day, have experience in giving them medication, clean up after them, and of course, give them lots of cuddles. I have been on Rover for 4 years but have professional pet care experience before that. I have gained a wonderful client base that trusts me with their furbabies and has faith in my knowledge and skills in pet care. I will treat your pets as if they’re my own, and I will give them all the same treatment I give my own pets.

Hiring Isabella to house/pet sit was our first experience leaving our house sitting experience so we were a bit stressed about it. Isabella made it very comfortable by sending regular updates and pictures which set our minds at ease and allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation. When we returned, the house was in perfect shape and our dog was clearly happy. He was obviously very fond of Isabella as he went to our guest room area several times looking for her after she left.

Isabella was great, she kept our girl company while we were gone on a family trip. She helped with some watering and put our trash cans out too which was super helpful. I felt good about our dog being able to stay home and felt like she was in great hands.

I have experience with the consequences of skimping on safety. One of my dogs was run over when I was younger when she bolted out the door, so I understand how important it is to be on high alert at all times to prevent escapes or other safety issues with my clients’ pets. I follow all instructions carefully and never assume certain rules, so I always check in with the client first to see if their pet can eat something new, walk to a certain part of town, etc. I monitor the pet’s health and behavior at all times and report back to my clients any updates, such as changes in stool, appetite, or sleeping habits.

I would like to know their age, if they’re leash-trained, and if there is anything that can irritate them. For example, getting close to them while they’re eating or petting a certain spot on their body. I’d also like to know their health conditions and if there’s anything that I need to prepare for.
A typical day
Depending on where you live, I’ll research nearby trails or parks that we could walk to and have a good time. If your dog is leash-trained, I can bring my own ball thrower so they can run after the ball.

I am a college students who has summers and winter breaks off, so I am very flexible and have very little commitments during these times.
