I'm a college student who loves animals of all kinds! I've owned/cared for dogs, cats, horses and more my entire life. While away at school I began a dog-walking business, which I have maintained for the last 2 years. Through my business, I have gained experience with dogs of all sizes, ranging from small to extra large, puppies to senior dogs, and dogs of all temperaments. I love walking my clients' dogs as well as my own dog, Kace, who is a 130lbs German Shepard. When booking: If you live in an area with little shade or grass, please be mindful of the heat! Consider scheduling walks at times that will ensure your dog (or cat) enjoys their walk. It can get quite hot in the summer months here, and while I'll always bring water for your pet on walks, excessive heat can lead to animal heat exhaustion and paw burns!

Isabela has been watching my cats, Max and Stella, for years and I couldn’t recommend her enough! She is always prompt and goes the extra mile making sure my cats not only have their basic needs met (food and water) but also have a clean living area and get all the love and attention they need! Isabela is an independent thinker and will simply take care of things before I even know there is a problem. Last winter while I was on vacation, Stella got into our cat food pantry and managed to knock a whole shelf down. I didn’t even know the fiasco occurred because the entire place was put back and refilled perfectly when I returned home! I never feel stressed or worried when I’m away knowing my babies are in Isabela’s care. She is a true animal lover with exceptional character. I would trust her with any pet!

I highly recommend Isabela as a pet caretaker. We have hired her on many occasions to care for our two dogs, donkeys and horses over the last couple of years. She is responsible and attentive to our animals needs and we have never had an issue while our animals were in her care.

When coming to your home to either care for your dog in-house, or take them out on walks, my utmost goal to ensure that your pet is having fun! In your home: If I am coming to your home to care for your animal while you're away, I’ll not only take care of your animal's needs (food, water, bathroom breaks, etc.) but also ensure they get play time, pets, and ample attention. Any instructions you leave for me will be followed every time. On walks: I extend my in-house pet care philosophy to my walks as well! When I am walking your pet, I am on their time. It is very important to me that your pet not just be lazily walked around the block, but that they are instead going on a fun and engaging walk that will exercise and entertain them. Your pet's safety is extremely important to me. If your pet has any medical conditions or special needs, please notify me in advance so that we can work together to facilitate the proper accommodations for them.

A typical day
Between being an avid runner and growing up in the valley, I know tons of great places in Mentone, Highland, and Redlands perfect for walking pets. If your pet is energetic and needs a walk/run to exercise and burn off some of that excess energy, I’m just person to do it. If your pet needs to move at a slower pace while still having a stimulating and exciting walk, that’s perfectly fine too! My wealth of experience with animals allows me to accommodate your pet in any way they need.

While at home, pet care is my full time job! We can chat on the phone or via text to work out a time that suites your animal care needs. Away on a trip? No problem. I'll stop in whenever needed to give your pet the care and attention they deserve!
