I have seen Izzy work well with a variety of dogs and I have not met a dog that does not love Izzy and enjoy her calming company. When she met my two standard poodles, they immediately warmed up to her, wanting her to play fetch with them and cuddle on the couch. We also were able to foster a puppy together for about 7 months from a shelter and she had so much patience and love for her. Gwen (our puppy) had some behavioral troubles as she was a very anxious dog because she was a stray as a puppy and Izzy worked with her everyday to train Gwen and help her get more comfortable in this world. She was able to help teach Gwen how to walk on a leash and how to have good recall in the local Ithaca dog park where Gwen was able to make friends with other dogs. Because of her experience with Gwen, she has a good sense for when dogs are anxious or showing signs of fear which is helpful when dog sitting for new dogs. She also has dogsat for dogs with a variety of needs from having to take medication at certain times to helping dogs fulfill mental and physical enrichment through games, walks, dog park playdates and food enrichment. Izzy is a great person to have in your dog's life to help when you are traveling, at work or just want your dog to have another person to play with.
