Hello! My name is Issie, I am 25 years old and I adore dogs and being outdoors. I grew up with a variety of dogs, and started dog walking in my village aged 11. Since then it has been on and off over the years, although I have been regularly walking dogs through borrowmydoggy since July 2019. I'm looking to make dog walking and sitting more permanent now as I miss the pure joy a dog can bring to your day. Over the years I have gained lots of experience working with dogs of various sizes, ages, physicality, and temperaments. I am therefore comfortable and competent working with dogs of varying natures. I have a flexible schedule including early mornings, afternoons, and evenings pretty much 7 days a week!

Issy is a very caring ad responsible person, she is very mature and level headed, especially in relation to her young age. She loves dogs, for which she has a natural affinity, and is experienced and capable in looking after them. She looked after the dog that I have had in my family for 2 weeks earlier this year and they created a strong bond of friendship and affection. Even after a few months apart Annie (the dog) was excited when I told her we were going to see Issy, the mention of her name was enough. In addition I would say that Issy's experience of working full time in the local Community cafe and Vegetable shop throughout the tough times of lockdown has demonstrated that she is a reliable and competent person.
Isabel started walking our beloved Labrador / Retriever cross, Nushka, when she was around 11 years old! She has always been bewitched by dogs of all shapes and sizes and had two dogs of her own from a very early age. She continued to walk Nushka until she sadly died in 2015, when Isabel was 18 years old. Throughout those years, Isabel responsibly and reliably walked Nushka at least weekly, and we knew that her care of Nushka was exceptional. She is loving and kind as a person anyway, but her love of dogs shines through. It seems the most natural thing in the world for her to be starting a dog walking business and we wish her every success with her venture and would heartedly recommend her if you want the absolute best for your dog!
Our dog Roly absolutely loves Izzie. Izzie started walking her as a puppy and from the very start they formed a trusting and fun bond. We felt able to trust Izzie with the keys to our house whilst we were at work to collect Roly and entrust her to safely care for Roly as well as give Roly a fun park/woods experience. It was great for us to know that our very loved dog was having such a good time with someone she loved when we were at work. Izzie is just the best dog loving human! 100% reliable, sensible, fun and kind.
Issie loves dogs more than anyone I know which is fortunate as dogs seem to adore her too. She is trustworthy and caring and is very attentive in everything she does. Her appreciation of nature and the outdoors paired with her passion for animals makes dog walking the perfect project for Issie. To her, walking the dog isn't a chore but a treat.
